Scott Carlson: “Our relationship with trees after Hurricane Helene”

On March 18th, we welcome Scott Carlson, a Board Certified Master Arborist from Schneider Tree Care, for a discussion on the impact of Hurricane Helene and its implications for tree care. This unprecedented storm brought widespread damage to the Upstate, with most property destruction caused by uprooted trees falling onto structures. In its aftermath, many homeowners have begun reconsidering the risks of large trees near their homes. Evidence from the tree care industry shows that regular pruning and growth regulators can improve tree resilience, helping them better withstand extreme weather.
