September Upstate General Chapter Meeting

Josh Arrants: “Falling Into Autumn: Stories & Connections of Native Species in SC”

On September 16, we welcome Josh Arrants, a nationally renowned naturalist, for a program on how South Carolina’s native plants—and the wildlife tied to them—respond as summer gives way to fall. With the autumnal equinox on the horizon, Josh will connect seasonal shifts to real changes in life cycles and behaviors across our region.

Josh will weave together the seasonal stories of South Carolina’s native flora and the animals that depend on them, showing how both adapt as conditions change. Expect clear examples, practical natural-history insight, and a fresh lens for what you’ll start noticing outdoors in the weeks ahead.
