Join the South Carolina Native Plant Society for a special field trip beyond the Upstate—this time to the Lowcountry! Former Lowcountry Chapter President Jeff Jackson will lead us on a whirlwind botanical tour through the Francis Marion National Forest, showcasing some of his favorite wildflower and orchid hotspots.

We’ll visit multiple sites featuring a variety of habitats, including cypress domes and Longleaf Pine savannas. Expect to encounter carnivorous plants, milkweeds, orchids, and other rare botanical finds in this unique and biodiverse corner of South Carolina.
