We need more volunteers than ever this year to serve the ever-increasing number of shoppers at the Upstate Spring Plant Sale. Sign up here and make sure to sign the required waiver. All volunteers must register electronically.

Q. What kinds of jobs are available to me as a volunteer at the sale?
A: We’re so glad you asked — you can learn all about them HERE.

Q: How will I find out what is expected of me as a volunteer?
A: Once you have been assigned a role, your name will be given to the Team leader for your area(s); they will contact you and provide instructions and additional training based on the job.

Q: When can I buy plants?South Carolina Native Plant Society Plant Sale
A: Volunteers and members get FIRST DIBS on plant selection during the Volunteer and Member Presale (online/electronic payments only). Orders will be taken Saturday and Sunday, April 8-9; orders will be pulled Monday and Tuesday, April 10-11, and must be picked up at the Upstate Native Nursery no later than Wednesday, April 12.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
A: Online payments only during the Volunteers and Members Presale. Cash, Checks, and Credit Cards on Saturday at the General Sale. (Please note that there will be a convenience fee of 3% for card transactions to cover our cost. But the low, low prices of our native plants still give buyers an incredible deal!)

Q: Do I need to sign another waiver if I have already completed one for another SCNPS event?
A: Yes, all volunteers must sign a new Release and Waiver of Liability form. Once you complete the volunteer signup form, you will be prompted to sign the waiver.
