2025 Upstate Spring Native Plant Sale
Event Details
Join us for the 2025 Upstate Spring Native Plant Sale, scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Stadium at Conestee Park, located at 840 Mauldin Road, Greenville. We are excited to be back again in this spacious venue, with plenty of room for all of our native plants, guest vendors and exhibits.
About the Event:
Please know that proceeds from this event will go to support SCNPS’s non-profit work to protect, restore, and educate about South Carolina’s native plants and habitats. This includes our 2024 victory in helping secure Greenville County’s 100’ riparian buffer requirement along waterways to protect critical ecosystems, as well as our role in preserving the rare biodiversity of Lewis Ocean Bay.
Event Highlights:
- Wide Variety of Plants: Get ready to explore our expansive selection of over 4,000 plants across more than 200 species, including native shrubs, trees, perennial wildflowers, ferns, vines, and grasses. You are sure to find something to enhance your outdoor space with species that thrive in our local ecosystem and contribute to regional biodiversity.
- Expert Advice Available: Our knowledgeable advisors (yes, their years of experience are off the charts!) will be available throughout the sale to assist you with your plant selections, offering tips tailored to your specific conditions.
- Bring Your Own Cart: Given the expected turnout and the size of the venue, we recommend bringing your own cart or wagon to facilitate the transport of your plant purchases.
- Payment Options: We accept cash, checks, and credit cards, allowing you to quickly settle up at the main checkout.
Special Features for Our Members & Volunteers:
- Volunteer Early Access: Volunteers will enjoy first dibs on our plant selection in a calm and relaxed setting. Early access begins on Friday, April 11th at 1 PM. Interested in volunteering? Find out more and sign up here.
- Member Early Access: SCNPS members can start their shopping spree with a special 30-minute early access at 8:30 AM on sale day. Ensure your membership is up to date to participate in this exclusive opportunity.

- Independent Sales: This year, we are excited to welcome local vendors who will independently sell their unique offerings.

Please note, these vendors will handle their own sales transactions separately from the plant sales at the main checkout. - Educational Exhibits: The sale will also feature valuable learning opportunities. More to come on these.
