We’re proud to share that Rick Huffman, founder of Earth Designs and president of the SCNPS Upstate Chapter, has been elevated to the American Society of Landscape Architects’ Council of Fellows—one of the highest honors in the profession.
This recognition celebrates Rick’s lifelong commitment to ecological design and his pioneering advocacy for native plants, watershed restoration, and sustainable landscapes throughout the Southeast. His work has inspired countless professionals and volunteers to see the land not as a resource to use, but as a community to restore and belong to.
You can read more about this honor in the official ASLA announcement and the Landscape Architect Magazine feature highlighting his contributions.
