Looking for more chances to shop for native plants this fall? In addition to our own SCNPS sales, two nearby botanical gardens are hosting their fall sales. These events offer excellent opportunities to find hard-to-get native species, learn from garden experts, and support the work of our partner institutions.

SC Botanical Garden Fall Plant Sale — Clemson, SC
September 26–27, 2025 | SCBG Nursery, 154 Lacecap Loop, Clemson, SC

The South Carolina Botanical Garden in Clemson is holding its Fall Plant Sale September 26–27. Shoppers will find a wide variety of plants—including annuals, herbs, perennials, ferns, shrubs, grasses, trees, fruits, bog plants, and many hard-to-find native species.

  • Members Sale: Friday, Sept. 26, 2–6 PM (Friends of the Garden membership required)

  • Public Sale: Saturday, Sept. 27, 9 AM–1 PM (gates close 30 minutes before end of sale)

SCBG staff and partner organizations will be on site to answer questions and assist with plant selection. Plant sales are a major fundraiser for SCBG, with all proceeds supporting garden operations and enhancements. Membership applications will be available at the sale, or you can join online for early access.
