The June 14 appointment-based sale at the Upstate Native Nursery was a great success! Every time slot filled, with a waiting list to boot. Despite limited parking, we managed a steady flow of 7 customers per hour—something we may bump up next time, thanks to smooth coordination and an enthusiastic volunteer team.
Roughly $4,000 was raised, and a wide variety of native plants found their way to new homes. Customers were a delight to work with, and volunteers said they had a great time. Huge thanks to Chuck and the other volunteers who helped make it happen.
A follow-up sale is in the works, pending the fall plant sale schedule. Blueberries were especially popular, though several are still available—so there may be another opportunity soon.
