Field Trip to Black River Cypress Preserve

Join SCNPS for a special visit to one of the most ecologically significant properties in the state—the Black River Cypress Preserve, a 1,000-acre private holding along the newly designated Black River State Park in Williamsburg County.

This is a rare opportunity to explore a landscape rich with biodiversity, from cypress-tupelo swamps to upland hardwoods. Attendees will get a private tour of the Preserve’s newly unveiled native plant garden and greenhouse, a project dedicated to regional restoration and education.

Location: Near Andrews, SC (exact address provided to registered attendees)

Cost: Free!
Capacity: Limited to the first 50 registrants
Open to all SCNPS chapters and guests
