We are pleased to introduce Chuck Hubbuch as our new Upstate Native Nursery manager. Chuck brings valuable experience and a strong passion for native plant conservation.
About Chuck Hubbuch
Chuck Hubbuch retired from the horticulture industry having worked at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden in Florida from 1983 to 2002, holding positions as Nursery Manager, Curator of Palms and Cycads, and Director of Plant Collections. From 2003 to 2019, he was with the University of North Florida as the Assistant Director of Physical Facilities, where his responsibilities included managing the campus landscape and grounds as well as the Sawmill Slough Preserve.
We look forward to the fresh perspectives and new ideas Chuck will bring to the nursery. His extensive background in horticulture and management will be invaluable as we continue our mission to promote and protect native plants.
