Friends of the Reedy River — Invasive Plant Pull and Mulching at Reedy River Meadow
Thusday, November 20 | 9:00 AM–11:30 AM | Greenville
Hosted by Friends of the Reedy River, this hands-on volunteer workday focuses on removing invasive plants and spreading mulch to restore native vegetation along the Reedy River. Participants will learn how to identify invasive species like Johnson grass, understand the role of native meadows and riparian buffers, and gain practical experience in sustainable habitat restoration.
These are great chances to get outside, meet others who care about conservation, and make a visible difference for the Upstate’s native landscapes.
