On May 31, the weather couldn’t have been better as SCNPS volunteers set up at the TD Saturday Market in downtown Greenville. As the event’s featured “Booth with a Cause,” SCNPS used the opportunity to share information about native plants and connect with the community.

Nia Thomas, Polly Moxley, Diane Maniscalco, and Joe Maniscalco represented SCNPS at the event. Special thanks to Nia, who saved the day with green plants from her home and a table runner that pulled the booth together.

SCNPS Upstate President Rick Huffman praised the team’s efforts, saying, “Public outreach is mission-driven and makes a difference. Wonderful job out there representing the best conservation organization.”

Thanks to Nia, Polly, Diane, and Joe for showing up and helping SCNPS make a strong impression with market visitors.
