In addition to purchasing plants from SCNPS at our Saturday, April 18th Upstate Native Plant Sale, you’ll have the opportunity to shop with these outstanding regional vendors:
Blue Oak Horticulture
Blue Oak Horticulture is passionate about reconnecting people with their local ecosystems. Their native and edible plants support insects, songbirds, and wildlife, helping to create balanced habitats. They offer seasonal vegetable and herb transplants, edibles, and perennial natives—and if you can’t find a particular plant, they may be able to grow it for you! Blue Oak also provides horticultural consulting and educational workshops throughout the year. Be sure to visit them in August for their annual South Carolina Pawpaw Festival!
Carolina Wild
Established in 2002, Carolina Wild is a family-owned native plant nursery in Anderson, SC. They offer a diverse selection of nursery-propagated native perennials, shrubs, and vines suited for a variety of growing conditions. Their propagation program includes over 100 species, making it a great resource for everyone, from beginner gardeners to native plant collectors. Carolina Wild uses ethically sourced seeds and stock materials, with most coming from local sources. No habitats are harmed in the process—except in cases of plant rescues from development sites. Their goal is to promote environmentally friendly and ecologically sound gardening practices.
Sarracenia Southeast
Are you looking to add something unique to your garden? Sarracenia Southeast will be offering a selection of carnivorous plants such as Venus’ Flytraps, Sundews, Pitcher Plants, and more. This local company from Traveler’s Rest will glad to guide you on how you can incorporate carnivorous plants into your home landscape.
Saturnia Farm
Saturnia Farm, founded in 2019, is a nursery, flower farm, and homestead dedicated to sustainable growing practices. Guided by principles of beauty, permaculture, and ecology, they provide holistically grown, affordable specialty perennials, native plants, and edible landscaping options. Their goal is to transform standard landscapes into thriving ecosystems that support both people and wildlife.
