Hey everyone who attended the plant walk after the Upstate SCNPS Summer Social Potluck Picnic, let’s try an experiment. My memory is full of holes and looking back over the photos on my phone, I’m really not a great photographer at all. However, I know there were some excellent photographers in the group, and you all have got to have a better memory than me. Please send me any facts that you learned, funny tidbits from the trip, any interesting insights—anything you remember that you think is worth mentioning—AND your best pictures. I’ll pull them all together next month into a field trip report.
As Rick reminded us of Rudy Mancke’s quote, “When you try to touch one thing by itself, you find it hitched to everything in the universe.” So, perhaps when everyone on a hike contributes one thing, we’ll find it all connects into an awesome field trip report. Let’s just see.
