Looking to get more involved with native plant outreach? We’ve got two fun and rewarding volunteer opportunities coming up in May—both great ways to connect with the community and support the SCNPS mission.

TD Saturday Market – May 31
We’re looking for two or three volunteers to represent SCNPS at our Upstate booth from 8:00 AM to noon during Greenville’s iconic TD Saturday Market. You’ll hand out literature, answer questions, and help recruit new members—all while soaking in the buzz of one of the city’s best weekend events.

If you’ve never been, you’ve got to go. There are tons of great booths, a big crowd, and plenty of opportunities to share the native plant message.

Location: Main St & McBee Ave, Greenville
Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Barrels & Beer – May 3
Help us celebrate National Stewardship Week at the 6th Annual Barrels & Beer, hosted by the Anderson Soil & Water Conservation District at Magnetic South Brewery in Anderson. This family-friendly event includes rain barrel painting, local beer, educational activities, and more.

Volunteers will help staff our booth, share native plant info, and connect with attendees in a casual, welcoming setting. It’s a great way to show up for conservation—and enjoy the event while you’re at it!

Location: Magnetic South Brewery, 516 N Main St, Anderson, SC
Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
