2025 Upstate Fall Native Plant Sale

This is an online-only sale. Do not come to the nursery to shop — plants must be ordered online.

Choose from one of the largest selections of native plants in the region — nearly 200 species, 4,000+ plants — all available to order online and pick up in Greenville.

The third week of October is officially designated as South Carolina Native Plant Week, a statewide observance celebrating the importance of native plants. The Fall Sale offers the perfect opportunity to add native species to your landscape in recognition of this special week.

Sale Schedule

  • Early Access (Members & Volunteers):
    Opens 12:00 AM, Wednesday, October 8
    A special link will be emailed at midnight. Make sure your membership is current or sign up as a volunteer to qualify.

  • General Access (Public):
    Opens 8:00 AM, Thursday, October 9
    Closes 6:00 PM, Saturday, October 11
    The link will be released by email on October 8 and will be posted here on our website.

How to Shop

This is an online-only sale. Do not come to the nursery to shop — plants must be ordered online.

  1. Wait for the Sale to Open

    • Members/volunteers: use the emailed link (October 8 at 12:00 AM).

    • Public: use the link here on the website (October 9 at 8:00 AM).

  2. Shop Online
    Browse the SCNPS Upstate Plant Store (link will appear here when the sale opens).

  3. Check Out
    Add plants to your cart, checkout, and you’ll get a confirmation email once your order is complete.
    Please note: placing plants in your cart does not reserve them. Only completed orders are guaranteed. Availability is first-come, first-served.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL 🙂. Please review your cart carefully before checkout.

  • Please Note: The plant list provided is intended to serve as a general guideline for available species at the sale. Due to limited quantities of many plants, we cannot guarantee the availability of specific plants at the time of purchase. All sales are first-come, first-served, and we encourage early ordering (remember members and volunteers get early access) to increase the likelihood of securing the plants that you desire.

Pickup Details

Pickup is for online orders only. This is an online-only sale. Do not come to the nursery to shop — plants must be ordered online.

  • Pickup instructions and time slots will be included in your confirmation email.

  • Do not come until you’ve received notification your order is ready.

  • Orders must be picked up by 6:00 PM the day after your order is ready, and all final pickups must be completed by October 11 at 6:00 PM.

  • The sale goes on rain or shine, and you are expected to pick up your order in the time slot specified in your email confirmation regardless of the weather.

  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL — no exchanges or refunds.

  • Order Pullers: Assist with gathering and preparing orders for pick-up.
  • Holding Area Support: Help manage and organize the pick-up area.
