Sesbania punicea from Matt , south carolina

Red group of bright flowers
Wild trees along roads at savanna national wildlife refuge park. South Carolina.
Tree with leaves kinda looks like mimosa tree leaves, tropical. Is this the flame tree from Madagascar? It kinda looks like it. Red flowers and blooming in may.

this is Sesbania punicea, an attractive shrubby legume, usually called rattlebox because of the dry fruits rather than the flowers. It was introduced from South America for its red flowers.  See more pictures here:
