my daughter is working on an older home and this is growing on side of porch and ‘under porch’ . trying to identify it and find out the best way to eradicate from under porch

this is the Empress tree, Paulownia tomentosa. It is usually considered to be invasive, and it grows remarkably fast. It also resembles the Catalpa which is less common. I am not an expert on plant eradication, but usually Roundup would work on this.
