We have an exciting symposium planned this year in North Charleston for the weekend of June 12 -14. A weekend full some of your favorite native plant activities….informative lectures, workshops, demonstrations, field trips to great places, and, of course, many opportunities to meet friends new and old that share your love and interest in the amazing natural flora of South Carolina!

By popular demand, registration for the SCNPS Symposium will remain open, with no late registration fee! You may register at the welcome reception Friday night or at check-in Saturday morning. Drs. Joel Gramling and Richard Porcher will present the keynote lecture, “A Lowcountry Botanical Potpourri.” This broad overview will touch on the history of field botany in our region, man’s impact on the local flora, how to document our botanical heritage, and much more.
