Upstate Native Plant Sale

2015 is past. Click here to find out about SCNPS’s 2016 Spring Sale!

SCNPS_UpstateSpringPlantSale2015_flyerThe South Carolina Native Plant Society, upstate chapter, will hold its spring plant sale on April 18 from 9am – 1pm at a new location at Conestee Park, 840 Mauldin Road in Greenville. A huge selection of native trees, shrubs and perennials will be available. Experts in native landscaping and native ecosystems will be on hand to give advice.  Purchases may be made by cash, check or credit card.

The Upstate SCNPS plant sales are a great opportunity to find native plants which are adapted to our local soils and climate. Once properly established, native plants require little or no watering, fertilizing, or special care. Native plants also maintain biodiversity in the landscape. They support birds and insects (including pollinators of the foods we eat) far better than non-native plants. The proceeds from the spring plant sale help support upstate projects such as ecosystem conservation and community education.
