Vaccinium sp. from Dee, South Carolina

Seen in wooded area on James Island SC last week 3/10/2019.Small white pendulous blooms with pink touches with pointed oval bright green leaves on green stems about two feet tall.

Hi Dee,

this is one of our native blueberries, but I’m not sure which species. We have many, and more features are needed for a specific identification, though you might try Vaccinium elliottii.
