What is this very viney plant that has grows quite aggressively around our oak tree and around its raised base area, in dry sandy soil? 1st pic, close up; 2nd pic, far away view.

your vine appears to be Trachelospermum jasminoides, the Star jasmine, also called Confederate jasmine. If it flowers, please send another picture to confirm this.
