Something my dad years ago planted around a fish pond. The fish pond is gone but the plant is still around in my back yard.
Joe, these are fruit clusters of Arum italicum, in the Aroid family, related to Jack-in-the-pulpit. It is a European native. One common name is ‘Italian Lords-and-ladies’.
