Hi Kevin,
there are two possibilities – either one of the hickories, Carya sp., or a buckeye, Aesculus sp. When the leaves come out a bit more it will be easy to distinguish them – Aesculus has leaflets arranged like fingers on a palm/hand, and Carya has leaflets attached to an axis as on a feather. I think it is more likely the hickory.
