Upstate: Fall Native Plant Sale!

September 21, 2013 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

jkm101002+053

jkm101002+031To create a landscape that supports native birds and butterflies, shop our Fall Native Plant Sale! Saturday, Sept 21, 9:00 – 1:00, in the parking lot of University Center (the old McAlister Square) at the corner of South Pleasantburg and Antrim Dr (225 S. Pleasantburg Dr) in Greenville.

The choices we make when landscaping have consequences beyond the boundaries of our own property. Studies have shown that even a modest increase in native plant cover significantly increases the number and species of breeding birds! The sale will feature a great selection of beautiful native plants that provide habitat, nectar and food for our native wildlife.

To learn more, come to our Fall Native Plant Sale! We will have native wildflowers, grasses, vines, shrubs and trees for sale, and we will assist you in selection of species for the habitat types present in your yard. Plenty of Society members can vouch for impact of native plants on the songbirds and butterflies in our yards.

Get a headstart now by downloading a detailed list of the plants that will be available (and the aisle where they will be!)  SCNPS_UpstateFallPlantSale2013.pdf
