Come out and help put the native plant garden in good shape for the fall and winter. Our regular crew has been tending and weeding since last March. Now is your chance to join them for a “blitz” of weeding, mulching, spiffing things up.
The date is Saturday, October 14 from 8:30am to 11am. The Pickens County Museum is at 307 Johnson St, Pickens, SC 29671, just a couple of blocks south of Main St. There is plenty of parking and the museum will be open. Bring gloves, hat, water, a shovel (narrow-blade works best) and lots of energy.
This is a great opportunity to see the garden, meet some new friends, and possibly take home a few of our extra plants. This beautiful garden is a long-term project of SCNPS, Master Gardeners of the Foothills, and the Upstate Master Naturalist Association.
HOW TO SIGN-UP: Email Carol Asalon at [email protected] Carol will put you on the list.
