Piedmont: Winter Dreaming-of-Spring Social & Seed Share!
January 27 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Hosted by Mitzi Stewart and Robert Kinsley (RSVP requested)
Please make plans to join fellow native plant enthusiasts for a winter afternoon social and seed share. We’ll share refreshments, talk about the 2018 programs and field trips you enjoyed most, and share your ideas for 2019 programs and field trips.
If you have seeds of southeastern native plants you’d like to share, please bring them identified by both common and botanical names; coin envelopes will be provided and reference books available, if needed. You do not have to bring seeds to attend or participate in the seed share.
If weather permits, we can take a short hike in the woods or simply enjoy sitting around the fire pit with hot chocolate or mulled cider. For those who prefer to stay indoors, we’ll have Doug Tallamy’s movie, Hometown Habitats: Stories of Bringing Nature Home, in the DVD player.
Dress for the weather and please RSVP via email to [email protected]. Allergy alert – Mitzi & Robert have indoor cats which will be isolated from guests but didn’t want anyone to be surprised.
