Lecture: The SC Department of Natural Resources’ Botany & Plant Conservation Program

Speaker: Keith Bradley, SCDNR Botanist

Description: Keith will talk about the Botany program’s efforts to conserve and manage the rich floristic diversity of South Carolina. The Botany program and its botanists are active in cataloguing the state’s rarest plant species, mapping them across the state, documenting the plant life on Heritage Preserves and other conservation lands. Keith will discuss the plant conservation programs being implemented by the program and partners, such as habitat management and rare plant reintroductions.
