Lowcountry Fieldtrip: Ethnobotany and Tea Cupping in the Lowcountry
November 23 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Leader: April Punsalan, Botanist, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Founder, Healing Plant Traditions
Join us for a stroll along the West Ashley Greenway with botanist April Punsalan as we locate easy to identify plants that have a traditional or medicinal use and can be readily added to your cupboard. After a 1-to-2 hour stroll, we will have a tea cupping session nearby. We will try teas from plant species identified and discussed along the West Ashley Greenway. Limited to 10 participants; SCNPS membership must be current to register. RSVP to Austin Trousdale at [email protected] or 864-554-8722.
