Hops & Herons Beer Festival

The SCNPS works closely with a number of ‘partners’ that share similar missions to our own to work together for the greater good.  The Conestee Nature Preserve is one such partner and their annual fundraiser event is coming up on Saturday September 24th; the Hops and Herons Beer Festival. This fun event will include a dozen breweries and countless activities for all.  We encourage you to sign up and attend to support this very worthwhile organization.

For those of you willing to volunteer, in addition to contributing to a good cause, your efforts will be rewarded with free admittance.  Check out the details below and reach out to Josh Zalabak to sign up and be sure to let him know you’re with the SCNPS!

  • When: Saturday, September 24, 3-6:30 p.m.
    • Volunteer shift times:
      • 1st shift: 2:00-5:00 p.m.
      • 2nd shift: 4:30-7:00 p.m.
  • Where: 601 Fork Shoals Rd., Greenville, SC 29605
  • Details: Hops and Herons is one of our largest events of the year, serving as an important fundraiser for Conestee Nature Preserve. With over 300 attendees, 11+ breweries, and countless activities, we need a large and capable volunteer team to make it a success! Jobs will include:
    • VIP parking attendant
    • Beer pourer
    • Registration/Info table
    • Face painter

p.s. Volunteers that are 21+ yrs old are welcome to partake in the festivities, outside of their volunteer shift, so long as it doesn’t interfere with their responsibilities.
