Tree or shrub growing next to my driveway, also have seen it growing on the side of the highway. My husband says mesquite but I’m not convinced. I don’t think I’ve seen it flower, although my neighbor cut it down last year it has grown right back just as big. Thankyou!

your tree is a mimosa tree, Albizia julibrissin. Not native, it has nice pink flowers but can be weedy.
