March, 2012 – Field Trip to Bray’s Island
The Southcoast chapter took a field trip to Bray’s Island on March 10, 2012 with naturalist Bruce Lampright. We had a about 15 folks out on a beautiful Saturday morning to see the spring ephemeral Zephranthes, Trillium, Arisaema and much more. The preservation and conservation of these uncommon genera is impressive and thanks so much to Bruce and the folks from Bray’s Island for sharing the treasures with us!
