Upstate field trip: Carolina Native Nursery

Join the Upstate chapter for a field/road trip to visit Carolina Native Nursery in Burnsville, NC. Meet at 8:00am at Ingles, Exit 1, on I-26 in Landrum, SC.

Enjoy cooler temperatures and the company of the speaker for our October meeting, Bill Jones, who will provide a tour of his nursery. After the tour, we will have a chance to purchase native shrubs, perennials ferns, and/or grasses. Fall is the perfect time to plant the species that are the specialty of Carolina Native Nursery. There are over 200 different species with many cultivars

Dress for outdoor and wet conditions of the nursery. Bring lunch and water for your comfort. Expect an easy 87 mile, one hour and thirty minute drive north on I-26, then east on19E and right to 1639 Prices Creek Rd, Burnsville, NC.
